Got to cover some crazy stuff today. A serial killer suspect was brought into Flint today after having allegedly committed a string of stabbings against black males. I got a front row seat. This was the first time I have ever covered really crazy intense news and had to be in a press corral of a couple dozen people. It was a stressful, intense and crazy experience to say the least. I also got really lucky with some access too. I got to be around in the jail as he was getting processed as well as dropped off and get some photos that most of the time you never get the chance to have access too. Dosen't hurt to ask for it, sometimes it works out if the guy in charge likes you.
