Some of my favorites from shooting MMA for a few days. Hung out with guys that were prepping up for a fight last night as an assignment. It was a blast, and the guys are awesome. Played around with the ring flash too, never really used it in any serious capacity, and I think there are some slight modifications that need to be done. By far coolest assignment yet.

First Day

Just got done with my first day of work. It wasn't overly hard, more so of just extremely frustrating. They are a very web oriented newspaper, so I am still trying to learn all the systems and methods they use, it is pretty daunting. Besides that though, I still get to wake up and go shoot. Today I shot the opening of a new park and got a couple that I like, even though they are pretty damn similar.

I have been archiving as of late, and saw this panorama that I never put together. I really miss Scotland, the people, and of course this view from on top of Arthur's Seat. Wish I could go back, and wish the best to all of those making the venture over there this year.

Athenz

Spent my last day in Athens packing, being lame, and hanging out with Eddie and a few others at Strouds before shuffling off to Michigan. It was a really chill and relaxing way to depart from Athens. Can't wait to come back some time in the fall, I miss it already.

Surprise Kris

I have a great friend that I hadn't seen in quite a while. Too long in fact. Her boyfriend invited me for a surprise birthday party, and I could not turn it down. It was just as fantastic as I was hoping it would be. She was shocked, amazed, and elated to get to see all of her friends. It was an amazing day.

4th

The fourth was as fun as always. Family knows how great it is, and friends have heard the stories. This year did not disappoint. Wish I had the chance to see them more often. It was great to see everyone before running away to Michigan for 6 months. And as an added bonus, I got a shotgun, best bingo prize known to man. Can't wait to give it a whirl.
