Dairy Farm

Finished up a story on the Ervin Dairy farm for class. Even though I am done with it for class, I am going to go back. Don't know exactly how this story is going to develop, but I would like to see where it could go.

Well I got a tattoo in honor of my mom a few weeks ago, and finally got a picture of it. It is kind of hard for me to get a picture of it since it is on my back. But Matt Eich got a shot of it one night and I managed to find it. Im really happy with it.

Obama Day

I went to DC and it was crazy. I didn't shoot nearly as much as I wanted to, which was unfortunate. Not too excited about my take, but it was a great experience. I think I was too busy getting names and talking to people than shooting. I wish I would have just shut the hell up and ran around taking pictures. O well, I know for next time that you don't need the names of everyone in every single frame. O well. Much thanks to Risa and Lydia for putting me up over the couple days, really appreciate it. More to come as I get more time to tone.

Mortician

I got access to three funeral homes, and got to scope out one of them. The director initially did not want to give me access to anything except the home itself, but after talking to him and hanging out for an hour or so he said that next time a person came in he would give me a call. And as long as the family okays it, I am allowed wherever. I am pretty pumped about it, but sure as hell need a back up plan for my story, because who knows if I will get the opportunity to shoot or not before next week.

Christmas time

So I guess I am lazy since it took me this long to put up 3 frames from christmas. My grandma was baking lunch and just stood in this sliver of light for about 15 minutes, so I got to play with my 105 for a bit while she bitched about me sticking a camera in her face. O well, back at school, really busy sometimes and really bored others, so hopefully I will get some shots I took over break here soon, got some good ones and some funny ones.
