Working on the blog

So I have been doing some work to the blog, and still have some more to come. I have some ideas and am going to try to implement them. So some of you more adept bloggers might be getting some heckling questions and comments from me trying to figure out how to do things. I have not been shooting too much lately, but am going to try and change that. I am going to get to see my first roll of film I shot with my little old Duaflex IV this weekend, so I am stoked about that. Hope that you like the changes when they are completely done, should look a lot better and cleaner, we shall see.

I finally got all my stuff worked on and submitted to CPOY. So I won't leave here without putting up at least one picture. This is an old one, but it is the one that I am kind of banking on to get me something for CPOY. Fingers crossed. It is a mortician I shot last year and I took it from my neck. No look, all luck.

I just got the big picture thing to work, but I think it was a fluke. I tried it a few other times, and with a few other pictures, and even that one that worked another time, and it was huge. It just kept dominating the entire screen. If anyone knows what is going on and has a few tips, they would be much appreciated. Then on top of that, my font keeps changing color and won't change back. I hope that it is jut this particular post that is totally messed up and not my html for the site. That could be bad. We shall see I guess, we shall see.

The reception

My friends are ridiculous, and I love it. Who else would think to have a fake wedding? Well, it was really a reception interrupted by some wedding type things. But that was what made it great. Some went all out, like Mr. Cords (aka Beej) and some had a more than likely forget-able time. It was a blast, most fun I have ever had at a theme party. I hope that there will be more amazing theme parties to go to in the future. I have high hopes.

Landscapes

Did a ton of editing and archiving today. Found a few pictures that I have taken while driving that never found their way off my hard drive for one reason or another. I hate going through so many pictures, but at the same time it is fun to find pictures you ran right over the first time. Its also great to see that the progress I have made as a shooter since freshman year. But it is still a headache, and always will be.

Rugby

Well, I have finally shot something somewhat worthwhile in the states. I went to shoot the rugby game today, hang out with some old buddies, and knock the rust off that has been accumulating since arriving in the states. I didn't have very long glass, so didn't really focus on action shots.

It is always a good time seeing my rugby buddies again. I haven't played the sport in over a year now, so depressing, but they do not hold any animosity at all about it. They come up and talk and hang out just as though they had just seen me at practice last week. Come Spring, I am making damn well positive that I do not have classes when they have practices. I can't wait to play again.

Panorama

My first try at a panorama. On top of Arthur's Seat in Scotland. I'm guessing you will have to click it to get a good view. I think it came out a bit dark....
