TLC Scrap day 2

So I went back to TLC scrap, it was interesting.  I got some good stuff because of how bad the ground was, it was literally a swamp.  My shoes are still drying out and that was 2 days ago.  But at the same time, I could not move fast and did not get nearly as many of the angles or shot that I wanted, I was really frustrated.  And on top of that I locked my keys in my car, luckily though Tom used to steal cars, so he got it open for me with a mere block of wood and clothes hanger.  I didn't know if it was going past my ethics having him help me out, but he insisted and would not hear of having me be charged $75 by a towing company, so whatever. O yea, and the proper way to spell America..... F-O-R-D.  yup

Dawn to Dusk

Well, I along with many other photographers shot for Dawn to Dusk.  Unfortunately none of my pictures got in, but here are the four that I submitted for review.  The first is Gary Green helping to get his neighbors horses back in their fence so that they don't get run over.  The next is Josh McCune showing off his dog 'Baby'. Third is Dave Williamson skateboarding at the Athens skate park. And lastly, this is how I wanted to show Stroud Run.  I did a long exposure and moved the camera.

This is a scrap and recycling center ran by a man with 6 kids and one of his sons who is 15.  He is a proud man who will not take help from anyone, and they seem very open to the idea of me coming back.  I think I might turn it into a story.  These are some I took of them, nothing too interesting but I will be going back.

Fire and Brimstone

Yup, the crazy preachers came back to OU.  They were thoroughly enjoyable due to the intense amount of ignorance that they stand for.

Falls

So went to Pittsburgh this weekend and we went to the falls and jumped from them into cold water.  Only two of my friends actually did it.  O well, great times.
